Within the relationship between the part and the whole, “Patchwork” embodies the cosmopolitan nature of art. It represents the emergence of a new and higher form of existence through a network of relationships established without losing identity, without remaining static, and without resisting transformation. Regardless of its scale or significance, every individual element contributes to the whole simply by existing, allowing existence itself to reveal its purest form.
