Within the philosophical framework of the relationship between the part and the whole, Patchwork corresponds to the cosmopolitan nature of art. It also represents the emergence of a new and higher entity through a network of relationships in which each element preserves its identity without being lost, altered, or transformed. Regardless of quality or quantity, every part contributes to the whole simply through its existence, revealing being in its purest form.
